A finely hand-painted Japanese Satsuma-style plate featuring a tranquil mountainous village scene with gilt highlights and intricate detailing throughout. The composition showcases traditional architecture beneath blossoming trees, with precise moriage and brushwork in soft muted tones and gold enamel. The plate is signed to the reverse with a red and gold seal featuring the kanji 神, associated with Kyoto-based decorative studios active during the Taisho to early Showa period. A beautiful display piece reflecting the refined craftsmanship of early 20th-century Japanese porcelain.
