A beautifully hand-painted antique Japanese Satsuma plate by Soko China, dating to the late Taisho to early Showa period (circa 1920s–1930s). The design features a colourful pheasant perched beside a stream, framed by autumn maple branches and delicate pink blossoms.
Finished with fine gold detailing and soft tonal shading, the plate also has a gently scalloped rim that adds elegance to its form. The signature Soko China craquelure glaze and gold script mark to the base confirm its quality and authenticity.
An exceptional example of early 20th-century Japanese porcelain — ideal for collectors of Satsuma ware or as a striking display piece.
